Claire Kretzmann

Claire began working at Paragon Costs in March 2015 as a Costs Draftsman and qualified as a Costs Lawyer in August 2018. Claire has wide case load which consists of various types of claim including personal injury, commercial litigation, subrogated loss and company law. Claire is also able to take on less usual work types, such as possession proceedings, matters in the Supreme Court and matters in the Tax Tribunal, and is quickly familiarise herself with the applicable principles. Claire undertakes a variety of work in relation to both receiving party and paying party costs and routinely deals with the costs assessment process from start to finish. Claire regularly prepares Precedent H costs budgets in the capacity of both the Claimant and the Defendant. Claire is experienced in preparing statements of costs and schedules of costs in addition to undertaking insurance audits and dealing with Court of Protection matters.

Claire approaches her work with a proactive attitude striving to achieve the best results for her clients. Claire’s meticulous and detailed approach ensures that her clients are provided with helpful and fully comprehensive advice.

Having studied through the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives since September 2012, Claire also qualified as a Fellow of CILEx in February 2017.
